Designer.

Artist.

Yogi.

Book lover.

My path began with a spark of interest in digital design while managing social media for my college dance team. Following a stint of over two years in the dental field, I realized it wasn’t the career path I desired. Motivated by a desire for professional growth and fulfillment, I explored the possibility of a career in design.

Upon earning my UX certification, I jumped into building a client base, collaborating with diverse stakeholders from e-commerce brands to app startups.

Recognizing I had only scratched the surface of UX Design, I decided to deepen my understanding of the field. That's when I enrolled in the CCS graduate program, ready to dive headfirst into a new chapter of learning and growth.

Areas of Design that captivate me…

Immersive Design

With a special focus on AR and VR in the wellness industry, I am passionate about exploring how immersive technologies can create serene and calming environments. My goal is to tailor these experiences to meet individuals' needs, promoting relaxation and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Sound Design

I'm intrigued by sound design and its impact on digital interaction. Exploring the nuances of sound effects, I am curious about how it shapes user experiences and enhances human-computer interaction.

App Design

I'm fascinated by creating user-friendly interfaces and compelling experiences that enhance both functionality and visual appeal in digital applications, seamlessly integrating usability with aesthetics.

Work flow

While this overview encapsulates my typical work process, I remain adaptable to varying project scopes and time constraints, ensuring that my work flow is tailored to each unique challenge and objective.

  • Question, challenge, Discover. I breakdown the client brief into smaller components to better understand and define what problem needs to be solved as well as isolate critical issues.

  • Find insights, deduce opportunity areas, asses user needs and business objectives to frame design challenge. Engaging in both secondary and primary research, I gather data and conduct interviews to gain knowledge of the topic and the individuals I am designing for.

  • Set ideas. I strategize and develop a clear design vision, drawing upon insights gained from research. I employ brainstorming sessions, collaborate with teams, sketching, hypothesis formulation, and evaluation to generate and refine initial concepts & design solutions.

  • Test, analyze, learn, iterate & repeat. I conduct user tests and collect feedback to evaluate the usability, functionality, and effectiveness of design solutions. I identify areas for improvement and iterate on the design to ensure it meets user needs and aligns with project objectives.

  • I bring the finalized design solutions to life and deliver them to the development team, stakeholders or end-users.

  • Making sure to measure the success of design. Evaluating if the design is serving business goals and user needs.

In my free time…

When I’m not designing or tending to clients, I enjoy drawing, attending hot yoga classes, and reading fiction, particularly psychological thrillers and contemporary romance.

...oh and trying new things. I’m currently learning a new language, Portuguese.
